The Crescent Docks

The grand docks of the city, aptly named Crescent Docks because of their unique crescent moon design, are a sight to behold. There is almost constant activity here, regardless of the hour of day. Ships almost constantly flowing in and out from the ocean, the warehouses and seedier establishments of the city located just off the docks.

The unique shape of the ground that the docks rested upon was supposedly made by a falling meteor, or the fist of an angry god. There are as many stories as there are people as to how the unique shape was created.

The docks themselves were spaced a bit farther than normal docks, primarily because the unique curve of the land caused the docks to seem to be aimed at a central point. And plenty of room was left to ensure that ships could both come and go on any of the docks without worry of collision.
